Jenn Roche

From the time Jenn can remember, she has always dreamed of working in the nonprofit sector to better the world around her and seek social justice. After she graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in international studies and a minor in history, she immediately moved down to DC to make this goal a reality.

As the Advisor for Strategy and Leadership Development, Jenn channels her creativity to develop trainings and thinking tools to support her colleagues so they can do their best work. She is also dedicated to helping design and manage Third Way’s Fellows Program. Jenn was promoted to her current position after serving as the Executive Coordinator for the Economic Program and the Social Policy & Politics Program, where she supported two Vice Presidents, measured the teams’ impact reports, and managed the teams’ social media accounts.

Before joining Third Way, Jenn instilled agency and created community change through several nonprofit experiences, particularly with regards to women’s rights, homelessness, substance abuse, and health care. She created a voter guide for homeless women living in Boston, encouraged Obamacare enrollment in Maryland through educational outreach, and developed a volunteering program at a women’s transitional home in Baltimore. She remains influenced by her travels to Argentina, Senegal, and India to study urban development and the complex social issues that come with it.

In her spare time, Jenn enjoys cooking (and eating), practicing yoga, and curling up with a good book. As a New York native with a New Hampshire upbringing, she loves spending her days at modern art museums and hiking up mountains.
