Jenny Archer
Jenny is the Senior Director of Philanthropy for the Climate and Energy program. She brings over three decades of experience to lead, nurture, and grow existing donor relations and identify new opportunities to maximize this dynamic team's work. As a development consultant, Jenny provided a diverse non-profit client base with expertise in fundraising assessment and evaluation, strategic planning, and the development of innovative donor engagement and stewardship programs.
Prior to her consulting work, Jenny spent nearly a decade leading the National Park Foundation’s corporate fundraising program and worked in the philanthropic program at American Express Company, where she helped manage its Cultural Affairs efforts supporting domestic and international traveling museum exhibitions, theater programs, arts education, and historic preservation. Jenny received a B.A. in Art History from Yale University. Jenny currently serves as Board Chair of The River House in Capon Bridge, WV.
Although she considers herself a New Englander having grown up rooting for all things ‘Boston’, Jenny has fallen in love with West Virginia where she tries to spend as much time as possible with her family, friends and two Australian Shepherds, Lyla and Luna, tending to a large vegetable garden and sharing its produce with the Third Way staff, floating on the Cacapon River and exploring all that the state has to offer with her husband, Glenn. Jenny appreciates the opportunity to align her personal interests and politics with her professional expertise.
