Jenny Archer

Jenny is the Senior Philanthropy Officer for the Climate and Energy program at Third Way. She joined the program after helping to support their fundraising efforts as a consultant for over a year. She is excited to bring three decades of philanthropy experience to help lead, nurture and grow existing donor relations and identify new opportunities to maximize the work of this dynamic team. For close to 20 years, Jenny has provided a diverse non-profit client base with expertise in fundraising assessment and evaluation, strategic development planning and building innovative donor stewardship programs.

Prior to her consulting work, Jenny spent nearly a decade leading the National Park Foundation’s corporate fundraising program and worked for the philanthropic program at American Express Company, where she helped manage a cultural affairs program that supported traveling museum exhibitions, theater programs, arts education, and historic preservation. Jenny received a B.A. in Art History from Yale University. Jenny currently serves as Board Chair of The River House in Capon Bridge, WV.

Although she considers herself a New Englander having grown up routing for all things ‘Boston’, Jenny has fallen in love with West Virginia where she tries to spend as much time as possible with her family, friends and two Australian Shepherds, Lyla and Luna, tending to a large vegetable garden, floating on the Cacapon River and exploring all that the state has to offer. Jenny is thrilled to have the opportunity align her personal interests and politics with her professional expertise.
