Technology
What We Believe In
Technology should make people’s lives better, our country safer, and our economy stronger. We want to leverage AI and other new technologies to create good jobs, help businesses grow, boost productivity, and make sectors like health care and education work better for more people. Realizing that promise means embracing innovation while preparing Americans for the disruption that comes with rapid change—and putting commonsense guardrails in place to protect people from real harms without standing in the way of progress.
We want workers to have the skills and support they need as jobs evolve. Parents to have better tools to keep their kids safe online. Consumers to feel confident that tech products will serve them, not exploit them. Communities to benefit from any data centers and infrastructure being built in their backyards without getting stuck with the bill. Above all, we want to make sure the benefits of technological change are broadly shared, not concentrated at the top.
Technology is changing our lives fast. We want to make sure that change creates more opportunity, more prosperity, and a better future for everyone.
