Looking for his first job out of college, Tosin landed at Loyola University Maryland, where he served as an admissions counselor in the Undergraduate Admission Office for two and a half years. Growing up in Baltimore, Tosin was already aware of the stark differences in educational outcomes across the city, but it wasn’t until his time as an admission counselor that he got an inside look at the diverse range of issues facing students across the state of Maryland and around the country.

Tosin’s academic and professional experiences provided him with the tools and knowledge necessary to make an impact on education policy, which are both strengths he’ll carry with him into his work at Third Way. As Education Communications Advisor, Tosin will employ storytelling methods to support our efforts to elevate and expand the reach of our higher education work outside of DC, to the people it impacts daily across the country.

Tosin earned his B.A. in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), and is pursuing a Masters in Emerging Media at Loyola University Maryland. In his free time, Tosin is either playing basketball, soccer or sketching designs and cartoon characters!
