Joshua is the 2022-2023 Economic Program Fellow at Third Way, where he helps the team address the myriad of issues facing the American economy.

Joshua has an eclectic academic background, having graduated from Santa Clara University with a B.A in Italian Studies and a minor in Computer Science. These studies taught him how to delve deeply into a nation's character and function, and how to address issues in a systematic manner. After working in a biotech research lab, Joshua returned to academia in the United Kingdom at Queen's University Belfast to study for an M.A in International Relations.

He focused on British style International Political Economy, researching sustainable development finance and sovereign wealth funds. From these studies he learned that informed economic policy can have positive societal effects beyond economic indicators. Joshua hopes to spend his time at Third Way making a difference in the great challenges the US is facing.

Joshua describes himself as a "naively ambitious chef" and loves cooking in his free time. While fluent in Italian and conversant in French and Spanish, Joshua also loves learning new languages such as Portuguese and ASL.
