Please, No Gimmicks - An Open Letter to the Super Committee

In this letter, Third Way urges the Super Committee to hit the $1.2 trillion target. Revenue increases must be revenue increases—not card tricks; spending cuts must be real as well.
It’s not impossible to hit the target with a balanced plan that allows all sides to keep to their core principles, as the $1.65 trillion plan we issued in September shows.
