Tahliyah Smalls has always been drawn to the kind of work that happens behind the scenes: the coordination and problem solving that helps everyone else do their best work. A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with degrees in Philosophy and Political Science, her experiences range from managing logistics for educational programs to coordinating different nonprofit partners in the Triangle. What ties it all together is her belief that strong operation isn't just about making things run; it is about creating systems where people and ideas belong, where processes are sustainable, grow with the organization, and are built thoughtfully. As the Executive Coordinator to the VP of Business Operations, Tahliyah supports the infrastructure that keeps Third Way running smoothly. She's excited to wear many hats, adapt to new challenges, and contribute to the internal systems that allow Third Way to thrive. In her free time, Tahliyah enjoys exploring new restaurants, roller skating, and getting lost in a fantasy book.
