Bu Lana is the IT Operations Coordinator at Third Way, where he helps keep the organization’s technology running smoothly and securely. His journey into IT began early, taking on support roles while still in high school and building hands-on experience ever since. He earned his bachelor’s degree in information technology from Towson University in 2023 and holds both the CompTIA Security+ and Google Cloud Practitioner certifications. Growing up as the youngest of four, Bu developed a knack for tech by working with his older siblings’ hand-me-down computers—tinkering with settings and exploring files to make outdated hardware run like new. That early curiosity turned into a passion for problem-solving and creative troubleshooting. Although Bu tends to be quiet at first, he becomes outgoing and collaborative once he’s comfortable. He enjoys supporting his team, improving workflows, and continuously learning to stay ahead in the ever-evolving world of IT.
