Emily Sternfeld

Emily leads all strategic relationship efforts with external partners from the policy and business communities to move Third Way’s ideas forward in the national debate. She joined Third Way in 2013 and helps to oversee the implementation of the organization’s goals.

Prior to coming to Third Way, Emily worked to lower barriers for American exports and spur U.S. job creation at the National Association of Manufacturers. She started her career working directly with Fortune 500 companies to help them solve problems and improve performance at Hitachi Consulting, and she later provided strategic communications counsel in the Boston area at Greenough Communications.

From her high school days interning at Rep. Joe Hoeffel’s (D-PA) district office, Emily had a strong interest in the way the public and private sectors interact to produce economic growth and how government can help strengthen communities. This passion was cultivated at Trinity College, where she earned a BA in Public Policy and Law, and further developed at The George Washington University School of Business, where she received her MBA.

As a native Philadelphian, Emily is still flying high from the Eagles big super bowl win and is contemplating moonlighting as a food blogger.
