David A. Coulter

Mr. Coulter is a Special Limited Partner of Warburg Pincus, LLC, a global private equity firm focused on growth investing. During the past 11 years, he served in roles at Warburg Pincus, including Vice Chairman as well as Managing Director and senior advisor focused on the firm’s financial services investment activities. Prior to that, Mr. Coulter held a series of positions at J.P. Morgan Chase and was a member of its Office of the Chairman. He also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of America Corporation. Mr. Coulter is a director of Varo Inc., a digital bank and financial services company, and a board member of ModivCare, Innovu, American Prairie Reserve, Third Way, the Northern California Asia Society, and a board member Emeritus at Lincoln Center. Mr. Coulter received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, and currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees.

Mr. Coulter’s experiences as both a senior executive of publicly traded financial services corporations, and as a director of public and private companies, provides the Board with extensive executive experience with regard to matters of interest to financial institutions, including risk, compensation, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions.
