Mia Reede

From the moment she graduated college, Mia Reede set her sights on Washington DC, eager to be where the action is. During her time at Wake Forest University, her interests were expansive, from reporting on local North Carolina elections, to researching maternal healthcare protocol in countries across eastern Africa, to even interning for an E-bike transportation company in Accra, Ghana one summer. These interests, while certainly varied, solidified her belief in the power of truth and research, and her larger desire to help drive sustained change through feasible policy solutions.

Now, as Executive Assistant to the President, Mia thrives in a fast-paced environment where each day presents new challenges and learning opportunities. With no two days the same, Mia continues to learn, while also gaining a unique and unparalleled insight into Third Way and the community it serves. In her free time, Mia enjoys diving into historical non-fiction, discovering new hiking trails around DC, and catching up with family and friends over long phone calls.
