Signal Project
The fight against Trump will take place on two battlefields: the courts and the court of public opinion. Opposition is brewing in the courts, and it’s equally crucial that Democrats land punches in the battle of public perception. To win this fight, it is essential that Trump opponents separate the signal (things that matter to swing voters) from the noise (things that matter to those who work in and around government but lack political salience with everyone else). To that end, we created the Signal Project, an 18-month campaign that identifies which Trump Administration actions are most resonant with key voters. We will provide actionable advice based on public opinion research on how best to frame those issues to make them resonate outside the Beltway.
