Demo: Every Body Pattern (UAT seed)
- Full memo (PDF) Infographic: Trump's War on Wind in New Jersey
This demo article exists so UAT reviewers can see every new body pattern on one page. Everything below is seeded content: the images, quotes, and relations are pulled from real production entries, but the copy describes the pattern it demonstrates. It also carries a standard inline link for good measure.
Images in every alignment
Above is the full-width treatment. The next two images sit left and right so the running text wraps around them, which is how shorter charts and portraits are placed in real memos.
With a left-aligned image, paragraphs continue along the right edge until the image ends, then return to the full column width. Enough text needs to follow for the wrap to be visible, so this paragraph runs a little longer than it otherwise would.
The right alignment mirrors it. Both captions render below the image in the smaller caption style.
This is the classic pullquote style, lifted out of the running text.
Structured content
A data table
| Pattern | Source | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Images (4 alignments) | Nested entries | Above |
| Pullquotes (2 styles) | Nested entries | Above and below |
| Editor’s Picks | Curated relation | Below |
Lists render in both flavors:
- An unordered list item.
- Another unordered item, slightly longer so the wrap is visible.
- An ordered list item.
- A second step in the sequence.
- A third step to close it out.
This is a native blockquote, distinct from the pullquote entries above and below it.
This is the blue pullquote style, for a second voice within the same article.
Embeds and references
The offset image above breaks out of the text column. The embed below carries explicit width and height attributes, which the front end reads to hold the correct aspect ratio while the iframe loads.
