Women in Energy: Galentines Happy Hour
On February 12, Third Way’s Women in Energy kicked off its 2026 programming with a Galentines in Energy Happy Hour at Ambar in Washington, DC. The evening brought together women from across the DMV energy community for connection, conversation, and a celebration of the women shaping the sector. Janie Thompson, an energy and climate policy professional, and Laura Kupe, a national security and energy policy leader with experience across government and the private sector, joined Francesca Hsie, Third Way’s Deputy Director of Electricity, for a conversation about their careers, including what made them fall in love with climate and energy and the skills they’ve developed that make them feel unstoppable.
