Using Data to Improve How Accreditors Measure Student Success

There is currently no consistency amongst higher education accreditors in how they collect and assess student success data at the institutions that they oversee. At the next negotiated rulemaking table, the Department of Education can propose data use practices to improve how accreditors and institutions report student success data to enforce accountability for education quality. This infographic outlines the three key data practices that the Department should require to improve how accreditors measure and how institutions report student success.
