Deciding where to go to college is a big decision, and it’s more important than ever those who choose to attend college pick the right school for them: one that will equip them to live a stable and secure life.
Tuition-free and debt-free options known as “college promise programs” serve to open the doors of higher education altogether for many students. But as this infographic illustrates, promise programs can also incentivize some students who ultimately want to earn bachelor’s degrees to shift their enrollment away from four-year schools, statistically decreasing their chances of ever seeing the economic benefits a bachelor’s degree can offer.
