Event Details
When
July 12, 2021
2:00 PM to 2:45 PM
This year, we’ve seen cybercriminals hack into a water treatment facility, disrupt a major oil distributor, take down hospitals, and tamper with the meat supply chain. What is the Biden Administration doing to pursue these malicious actors and ensure it doesn’t happen again?
We discussed with senior officials from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the FBI, and the US Secret Service how they are combatting cybercrime and working to prevent the next big ransomware attack. This event was moderated by Todd Rosenblum, Interim Director for National Security at Third Way.
Speakers:
- Matt Hartman, Deputy Executive Associate Director for Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency
- Herb Stapleton, Deputy Assistant Director, Cyber Division, FBI
- David Smith, Deputy Assistant Director, US Secret Service
