  • As we approach the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in early November, it’s never been more important to set the world on track to reduce global emissions and mitigate the impact of climate change. That’s why we must use every low- and zero-carbon option at our disposal, including advanced nuclear energy.

And for the first time, the COP will include a robust conversation on the potential for both existing and advanced nuclear power to help decarbonize the electricity and industrial sectors and produce hydrogen.

Please join Third Way and the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering for the first installment of our Fastest Path to Zero Virtual Series on October 25 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM ET. We’ll hear from members of Congress, international leaders, nuclear engineers, and energy policy experts, who will discuss the global development of advanced nuclear technologies as well as advanced nuclear’s contribution to national and global decarbonization efforts.
