At COP26, we saw countries around the world make major new commitments to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and build out their clean energy capacity. New collaborations, like the First Movers Coalition led by the US and the World Economic Forum, will leverage the purchasing power of the world’s largest companies to expand the market for emerging clean energy technologies.
What do these actions, and particularly the US commitments at COP26, actually mean? How will it impact the future of clean energy innovation and emerging clean technologies across the country and around the world?
Please join Third Way and the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering for the second installment of our Fastest Path to Zero Virtual Series on December 14 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM ET. We’ll hear from members of Congress, leading energy and innovation scholars, policy experts, and journalists who will discuss their takeaways from COP26 and their perspective on the future of US clean energy innovation.
