Third Way Applauds Biden-Harris Administration’s Nomination of Brad Crabtree as the Department of Energy’s Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy and Carbon Management

WASHINGTON — Third Way released the following statement from Josh Freed, Senior Vice President for the Climate and Energy Program on the nomination of Brad Crabtree as the U.S. Department of Energy’s Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy and Carbon Management:

"Third Way is thrilled the Biden Administration is naming our friend Brad Crabtree as Assistant Secretary for DOE’s Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management. This office has a major role to play in meeting President Biden’s climate and economic goals. Brad has demonstrated a shared commitment to these goals, thoughtful leadership and consensus-building skills, and an ability to get things done.

"Over the better part of two decades, Brad has brought together hundreds of partners at the state, federal and international level to successfully pursue policy solutions that reduce carbon emissions from fossil fuels while creating opportunities for American workers in struggling regions and industries. We can’t think of a better person to help advance the President’s agenda, along with the other talented professionals already transforming the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management."
