Statement of Third Way President Jonathan Cowan on the Selection of Senator Kamala Harris as Joe Biden’s Running Mate

WASHINGTON — Third Way released the following statement from President Jonathan Cowan:

“This is an historic, inspiring, and exciting day for the Democratic Party and the nation. By choosing Senator Harris, Joe Biden brings a barrier-breaking, dynamic, and hugely talented partner to the tasks of beating Donald Trump, repairing the damage he has done to our republic, and moving our nation forward.

“Kamala Harris was exactly the right choice for this moment. She will be a fierce and trailblazing leader, both as the nominee and as Vice President. We are inspired and deeply energized to help the Biden-Harris ticket win and the Biden-Harris Administration govern.”
