Methane Rule Completes a Trifecta of Horrid Policy Decisions by the Trump Administration

“The EPA’s proposed revision to the methane rule completes a trifecta of horrid policy decisions by the Trump Administration. Most administrations seek to develop smart policies that they believe will improve Americans’ lives by creating more economic opportunity, making our air and water cleaner, or reducing climate pollution. The rollbacks of auto fuel efficiency standards, the Clean Power Plan, and now the undermining of the methane rule is taking a chainsaw to our environmental protection that will result in long-term consequences for the health and wellbeing of the American people.”
