CareerWise Colorado is an innovative hub that coordinates schools, employers, and students to prepare, equip, and support apprentices across the state. Increasing access to apprenticeships is a key way to help Americans acquire skills that will allow them the opportunity to earn in the new economy. It is a critical component of a modern social contract for the digital age. CareerWise Colorado is doing pioneering work to build out the education-to-workforce pipeline that provides apprentices a pathway to a good-paying job that fills the needs of local businesses, and it allows students to earn while they learn. May Amoyaw sits down with their President Gretchen Morgan to discuss how the intermediary fills a critical role to help Colorado businesses develop apprenticeship opportunities and help students succeed as they enter the workforce.
