Perhaps the most dramatic trend in American politics over the past few election cycles has been polarization along educational lines. While characteristics like race, class, and geography have often correlated most closely with differences in voting behavior, education may be overtaking these other categories as a defining divide. And while there's been plenty of ink spilled analyzing educational divides among white voters, similar dynamics happening among voters of color have been left largely unexamined.

Third Way held a virtual discussion on educational divides among Black, Latino, and Asian voters. The conversation was moderated by Mo Elleithee from the Georgetown University Institute of Politics, and panelists included Ruy Teixeira of Center for American Progress, Quentin James of Collective PAC, and Aliza Astrow of Third Way.
