Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has spent her 12 years in the Senate leading a number of legislative efforts. Shortly after joining the Senate, she successfully pushed for the repeal of the discriminatory Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy and passed the historic 9/11 health bill, giving long overdue support to first responders. And she continues to be a national leader on critical workplace economic issues, like national paid leave, universal pre-K, and affordable child care as essential to rebuilding the middle class. As the Senator for the number one terror target in the United States, Gillibrand is a vocal presence on the Armed Services and Intelligence committees.

In 2011, Senator Gillibrand launched Off the Sidelines, a PAC devoted to helping elect more Democratic women to Congress. In order for Democrats to hold and expand their majorities in the House and Senate in 2022, the backing of groups like Sen. Gillibrand’s Off the Sidelines PAC will be critical.
