The Arsenal of Clean Energy: Strengthening the Bonds of Clean Energy, Innovation, and Sovereignty

In February of 2022, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin led an immoral, unprovoked invasion of a sovereign nation, Ukraine, under false pretenses. Using Russian energy, fossil fuels in particular, Putin tried to bully the rest of Europe into silence. It hasn’t worked. That’s because the US and other allies stood up to Russian tyranny. But in order to prevent another petro-cratic dictator from manipulating global energy markets for personal gain, the US and Europe must strengthen the bonds of clean energy to overcome a volatile oil market. This podcast series produced in partnership with Political Climate seeks to explore how the US can do just that, in conversations that illuminate our ability to serve as a partner and leader to those aims.
