This study estimates the savings to Medicare, Medicaid, private health insurance (PHI) and out-of-pocket (OOP) from making bundled payments a foundation for Medicare spending.
In summary, projected savings to Medicare total $206.5 billion over the 10-year period (2015-2024) and projected savings to Medicaid, PHI and OOP total $70.0 billion, $190.1 billion, and $0.0 billion respectively.
