Third Way Encouraged By Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Climate Recommendations

Third Way released the following statement on the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force climate recommendations from Ryan Fitzpatrick, Director of Policy for Third Way’s Climate and Energy Program:

Washington - “It’s encouraging to see the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force recommending a climate and clean energy approach consistent with the science. We’re impressed by the focus on technology-inclusive energy policies—allowing for innovative tools like nuclear and carbon capture—and performance standards that will guarantee we reach net-zero emissions by 2050 at the very latest,” said Ryan Fitzpatrick, Director of Policy for Third Way’s Climate and Energy Program. “They’ve rightly called on the campaign to commit to environmental justice and create more opportunities for US workers, already key priorities in Vice President Biden’s climate agenda.
