Congress Must Act to Save Students Now

Next year will bring many changes to our nation’s higher education system. But those changes will take time, and as new data emerges on the state of higher ed, students and their families simply cannot wait. Congress can tackle looming disasters now, fully restoring the promises of higher education, and clearing the way for the next Congress and administration to address other major issues to make our colleges and universities more affordable and equitable while ensuring it better serves the students it enrolls. This letter highlights the steps Congress can take now to save students in this moment of dire need.
