Responding to the Crisis: The Recovery and a Clean Energy Economy

In partnership with Our Daily Planet and the University of Michigan, Third Way’s Climate and Energy Program held the first in a series of Zoom interactive web panels examining how the COVID-19 crisis will impact the transition toward a clean energy economy in the United States. This series will also explore solutions to rebuild our economy through thoughtful policies that place the US on the fastest, fairest path to net-zero emissions by 2050 at the latest. 

As Congress begins to consider new phases of stimulus, Miro Korenha from Our Daily Planet held a candid conversation about the impact of the global pandemic on the clean energy industry with former Obama Commerce Chief Economist Dr. Ellen Hughes-Cromwick of Third Way, Volt Energy Founder Gilbert Campbell, and Daniel Raimi, a senior research associate with Resources for the Future.
