DETAILS: Amid mounting concerns over federal spending, the deficit is once again at the forefront of Americans’ priorities. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer delivered a major address on solving the nation’s fiscal crisis by outlining a blueprint for bipartisan progress on the budget. Speakers included Robert Bixby, Executive Director of the Concord Coalition, Robert Greenstein, Executive Director of the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, and David Walker, President and CEO of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation.
