“The job is what you make of it." That is what one of Brenda's most important mentors told her and it's a lesson she's taken to heart throughout her varied and versatile career. From human resources to employee development to facilities management, Brenda oversees the daily logistics that keep Third Way humming along.

A native Washingtonian, Brenda got a head start on her career at the Pentagon. At the tender age of 16, she worked on top secret projects at the Department of Defense under Secretary Caspar Weinberger. For the next two decades, Brenda managed the day-to-day operations of numerous for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Before joining Third Way, Brenda moved from defense, to banking, to information technology—and given her knack for organization and structure, it was only fitting that she would establish a career in administration and operations. Brenda joined Third Way in 2009 as the Manager of Finance and Administration and quickly moved up the ranks to become the Vice President of Operations. Ever striving towards excellence, Brenda works with her team to ensure that all internal operations and support, including HR, are executed in the most efficient and impactful manner.

Brenda earned her Bachelor of Science in Technology Management from the University of Maryland and her Master's in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College in College Park, Maryland. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and friends just enjoying what life has to offer.
