Rachel Minogue

Rachel Minogue found her way to Third Way via a strong passion for trade policy – and its implications on the economy, employment, and human rights.  A proud centrist from St. Louis, Rachel strives to be moderate in all things, except when it comes to her opinions on the superiority of Missouri BBQ.

Rachel most recently completed a Masters degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), concentrating in International Economics and International Law.  She spent her first year of studies in Bologna, Italy, where she honed her skills in trade law and pasta consumption.

Prior to SAIS, Rachel worked as a Government Relations Associate at Urban Swirski & Associates, a DC-based consulting firm, where she led projects related to trade, taxation, financial services, and retirement security.  She also held internships with the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office, the Delegation of the European Union, and the Office of Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO).

A graduate of Emory University, Rachel is an avid tennis player and Roger Federer fanatic.  She is also an aspiring baker, having watched a few too many episodes of the Great British Bake-Off.
