Well Paul Ryan and his budget are on the ticket. Everyone’s looking at Medicare, but we drafted a memo earlier this year that explains numerous other areas where Ryan’s budget hurts basic services that Americans have come to expect.

Ryan is anything but centrist. He had his chance to support a centrist budget from Bowles-Simpson but ducked the hard choices. Third Way is an organization that counts fiscal responsibility as one of our principal attributes, but his proposal would deal a severe blow to the capacity of the federal government to support the health, safety, and prosperity of Americans.

This memo describes the everyday impact of his cuts.
