Policy Counsel, Social Policy & Politics Program
Sarah Trumble is Policy Counsel for the Social Policy & Politics Program at Third Way. In her work, she focuses on reaching moderates on social issues such as abortion, marriage for gay and lesbian couples, and comprehensive immigration reform. Prior to joining Third Way, Sarah worked at the National Women’s Law Center and as a research assistant examining the causes and consequences of the 2008 financial crisis. Previously, she interned at the National Partnership for Women & Families, the National Abortion Federation, and the District Alliance for Safe Housing.
Sarah earned a joint JD/MPP from The George Washington University and a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her work has been featured in a variety of media outlets, including The Washington Post, The New York Times, and POLITICO.
