Deputy Director for the Clean Energy Program
Rob Walther is the Deputy Director for the Clean Energy Program. He is responsible for developing policies to promote advanced and clean energy innovation as well as emission reduction strategies. Prior to joining Third Way, Mr. Walther served on the staff of the House Committee on Science & Technology and was responsible for a portfolio including nuclear power, coal, natural gas, smart grid, and technology transfer. Previously he was an Associate at Wexler & Walker, PPA where he worked on energy and environmental policy related matters for a diverse set of clientele. Mr. Walther helped to manage Former Senator Bill Bradley’s New York City office during his presidential campaign in 2000. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts and received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School where he was a member of the Brooklyn Law Review.
