So government is just a waste?

Our examination of sequestration—essentially the result if the Super Committee fails to achieve a deal—includes bad and worse news: criminals evading incarceration, new cases of food poisoning, more time on the tarmac, unreliable weather reports, and gun purchase delays.
We believe understanding the facts and the impact of sequestration can help lawmakers explain why failure isn’t an option and why the Super Committee must reach a bipartisan deal.
