With the prospect of tough budget fights ahead, no government program will be spared close scrutiny. But one program that deserves continued support is the Obama Administration’s signature education program, Race to the Top. In just two years, the program jump started the education reform debate, leading to major reforms in states across the country. Race to the Top has the potential to continue the momentum in education reform, but in order to win the future, we must continue to invest in successful education initiatives like Race to the Top.
