It’s official: moderate voters will determine whether Democrats retain the Senate majority in 2012.
Our newest report analyzes the 10 toss-up Senate races and finds that the Democratic candidate needs to win a majority of moderates in 9 of the 10 races in order to win their seat. In 7 of those races, the bar is even higher—the Democratic candidate must clear 60% or more of moderates in order to claim victory.
