DETAILS: A bipartisan, bicameral coalition of congressmen were joined by Rural Electric Co-ops and Industry leaders to introduce legislation that will create a Rural Energy Savings Program to create jobs, save American families and businesses money on their electric bills, and reduce pollution. Speakers included House Majority Whip James E. Clyburn, (D-SC), Senator Lindsey Graham, (R-SC), Senator Jeanne Shaheen, (D-NH), Senator Jeff Merkley, (D-OR), Senator Michael F. Bennet, (D-CO), Rep.
