Education Events Coordinator
Like many young Americans, Molly’s political activism was inspired by the grassroots activism of the 2008 presidential election. Her passion grew steadily when, as a college student, she worked as an intern for Congressman Ron Barber (D-AZ) on both the official and campaign sides, a political intern at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), and a campaign coordinator for Arizona List, which supports pro-choice, Democratic women running for office. Immediately after graduation from the University of Arizona, Molly began working at AIPAC on the Marketing, Creative and Events team as a Client Services Assistant and then Event Operations Associate.
Molly has been privileged to visit countries throughout Eastern, Central and Western Europe, and credits those experiences with her desire to galvanize consensus and provide rights to every citizen such as adequate and accessible health care. While studying abroad in Australia, Molly cemented her belief that organizing people around their common interests is both practical and inspiring. Her belief that a nation as strong as the United States of America can provide health care and opportunities to all, and develop sensible gun policy inspire her life, and she is committed to putting her energy into these causes.
As the Education Event Coordinator, Molly supports the Social Policy & Politics team’s work on higher education. She coordinates and executes events and meetings and builds partnerships with education stakeholders to advance Third Way’s ideas and policies to ensure students are getting a good value from institutions of higher education.
In her free time Molly enjoys petting every dog that passes by, rooting for the Arizona Wildcat’s basketball team, and searching for the DMV’s best sushi spot.
